PA Works is one of my favourite anime producers when it comes to slice of life type of anime (I don't know if they do action movies). Nagi no Asukara is something different from what I've watched for the past few years (namely Hanasaku Iroha, Red Data Girl and True Tears to name a few).
Instead of mermaids/mermen, the characters are humans except that some live normally on land and some live underwater and these two are not in good terms.
