The World God Only Knows - 268 [END]

I've grown up watching my cousins and friends playing card games such as Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon. Selector is about that type of card game.

I have never understood how the game is played and I've never even watched Yu Gi Oh as well. Selector was not on my To-Watch list for Spring 2014's season. Although, I decided to watch it because I find everything else not interesting. Here is a short description I took from Wikipedia.

WIXOSS (short for "Wish Across") is a popular trading card game in which players battle against each other with fighters known as Lrigs (ルリグ Rurigu^?), using cards to support them. Ruko Kominato, who receives a WIXOSS deck from her brother, discovers that her Lrig, which she names Tama, can speak. She soon learns that she has been chosen as a 'Selector', girls who must battle against other Selectors. Should they be victorious in battle, they will be able to have any wish granted, but should they lose three times to other Selectors, they will lose that chance and lose all memory of the game. As she and four other Selectors battle it out for the sake of their wish, Ruko finds herself drawn into the dark sinister world of WIXOSS.

The characters being introduced on the 1st and 2nd episode are the type of girls who have no friends, that will be Ruko and Hitoe and maybe Yuzuki as well. After being 'Selector', they need to defeat each other to get their wishes. And this is where the good girls gone bad.

I think it's quite common to see these type of characters (no friends and innocent type of girls) become so 'bad' just to get their wishes fulfilled as for Ruko, she may want to wish her grandmother to stay and Yuzuki wants to be with her brother. Eventhough it is common, the storyline sort of attracts to just watch the anime and see what will happen. Is it something that we will expect in the end or kind of twisted.

The World God Only Knows

I've recently (last year) become a fan of The World God Only Knows manga and that happened after I read reviews of it's 3rd season of the anime version from RandomC website. 

When I caught up with the first season, I've only watched like 10 episodes and then I gave up because it was too slow. And then I didn't planned to catch up the 2nd and the last one. 

The World God Only Knows is a story about this game fanatic boy Keima Katsuragi who were sort of become trapped (after he accepts an offering through the email he received) by a demon named Elsie who wants him to capture evil spirits that hides in the heart of mostly girls. And by catching them, he have to 'conquer' girls with his strategies through his dating-sims gaming. So, he's sort of a playboy geek. Once he conquer the girls, they will forget their 'relationship' with him.

When I caught up with the 2nd season, at which that time the 3rd season was already running, I was stuck trying to catch up the whole story and remember all the girls and when I finally on the 3rd season, all hell breaks lose. In the 3rd and last season (I wish there was more), some of the girls whom he has conquered starting to remember their 'relationship' with him and jealousy burns wildly with these girls (Ok, I'm a bit exaggerating). It turns out, instead of evil spirits there were six goddesses inside these used-to-be-possessed-by-evil-spirits girls. And he have to conquer these girls back to awake the goddesses so that they can defeat the enemies with their power. 

Back to the manga. I think thanks to Wikipedia that I know this anime was based on the Manga with the same title. After the third and last season (I wish there was more!!!) I decided to catch up the whole story on the manga. And now, it is about to end after I read Issue 20 and on the last page it says, 'Next Up, the Final Chapter'.

At that time I was reading the manga on my phone and didn't actually capture what it meant. Slowly, I sat up straight and stare at the screen closely. I open Google Chrome and search for news regarding this last chapter and found one on the AnimeNewsNetwork. Yes, it is confirmed that The World God Only Knows will end on April 23. Why? Why?!!! When I began to like the manga why does it have to end?

Now, I only have Fairy Tail to catch up. Only these 2 are the manga that I always read. 

Although, some people said that The World God Only Knows is lame and they don't like the hero, I still think it is a good story and entertaining. I just wish it will continue but stories have to end somewhere right? I wish all the best to the Manga artist/writer. 

I Am Learning Japanese!

The reason I started this blog is to post reviews on the animes I have watched. Problem is, I can't seem to catch up with latest animes and then review it the next day. The reasons are:

1. Internet sucks here, so the download can take days or even weeks. 
2. I don't know which to watch first, and;
3. I have no mood to watch them.

Don't get me wrong, I really, really love anime so much but then, I have other hobbies like reading or surfing the net 24hrs or play my 3DS (Need to complete my Rune Factory 4, brother reached the  credits!) 

Although today I am not going to talk about animes.

I haven't blog for years now. Because for the last few years, either I'm too distracted by life passing by or just got nothing to blog about.

I hope I'll be active in blogging this year and the nexts.
